DW Legacy Design®
|
Legacy Design DaysLegacy Design Days are dedicated days that convene each office for design discussions and project reviews. The sessions nourish our culture of design and community. The conversations, project critiques and shared best practices advance our work. Legacy Design Days occur in two rounds each year. Forum Leaders who represent each Legacy Design circle accompany Chief Design Officer, Todd Johnson, to each office to teach the DW Legacy Design® method using active projects as examples. In the past, faculty in residence have participated to lend their points of view and depth of knowledge to the discussions. Legacy Design Days are an opportunity to further our understanding of Legacy Design methods within the context of projects currently on the boards. Components of the method are emphasized each semester and the curriculum reinforces the Legacy Design principles, which are to be comprehensive in four categories, inclusive of the range of ideas, experiences and knowledge of all team members and collaborators; transparent in our decision-making processes, and accountable the Legacy goals and metrics from beginning to end. |
