Design Workshop Announces LEED AP BD&C Accredited Professional, Darla Callaway9 February 2010 Aspen, CO Darla Callaway, a Landscape Designer in the Aspen office of Design Workshop, has recently added Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional- Building Design and Construction (LEED BD&C) to the list of her credentials. Administered by the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI) and developed by the U.S. Green Building Council, (USGBC), this specialty accreditation affirms Ms. Callaway’s professional expertise of the design and construction phases for high-performance and environmentally-sound commercial, institutional and residential buildings. Passing the LEED BD&C exam also indicates a life-long commitment to environmental stewardship and is a milestone in Design Workshop’s professional development plan. Ms. Callaway joined the Aspen office in 2008 after graduating from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture.
