Design Workshop’s Stephanie Grigsby Receives LAEP Distinguished Alumni Award from Utah State University

LAKE TAHOE — Design Workshop, an international landscape architecture, planning and urban design firm, is pleased to announce Stephanie Grigsby, managing principal in the firm’s Tahoe studio, has been selected to receive Utah State University’s 2025 Distinguished Alumni Award from the Department of Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning (LAEP).

“Stephanie is well-deserving of this recognition,” said Becky Zimmermann, CEO of Design Workshop. “She brings an artful balance of expertise and enthusiasm to all of her projects, skillfully bridging social, economic, and environmental goals to serve communities today and into the future.”

Recognizing inspiring service, the LAEP Distinguished Alumni Award celebrates Utah State University alumni who excel in landscape architecture and environmental planning.

Grigsby earned her Master of Landscape Architecture from Utah State University, during which she received the National Honor Award for Excellent Achievement in Landscape Architecture from the American Society of Landscape Architects. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in horticulture from Brigham Young University.
